Buying / Size Guide

This bold print of the world-renowned Bridgewater Hall is by north-west based illustrator Stephen Millership. Pictured at night, the warm yellow glow of the venue stands out against a starry backdrop. In the foreground the venues’ lights reflect across the purple waters of the Rochdale canal that runs across.

Bridgewater Hall is Manchester's international concert venue, hosting over 280 performances a year including classical music, rock, pop, jazz, world music and much more. It’s located in central Manchester, with a waterside entrance built on a specially constructed arm of the Rochdale canal.

Costing over £42 million to build in the 1990s, the venue boasts a state-of-the-art Auditorium with tiered seating over four levels.Since opening in 1996, it’s been the home of the Hallé Orchestra, the Hallé Choir and the Manchester Boys Choir as well as being regularly used for concerts by the BBC Philharmonic.

Millership’s work is influenced by the golden age of the travel poster, re-imagined with a modern aesthetic. He’s illustrated many of Manchester’s most loved landmarks and attractions.
