‘Bright Lights Dusk’ shows a dusky evening in the Deansgate area of Manchester known best for its mix of high-end shops, bars and restaurants. Painted on a winter's evening, the bright glow of shop lights flood across the pavement outside.

In the distance, an impressive Art Deco building can be seen set against a moody lavender sky. This Grade II listed building is Manchester’s largest department store, which was designed by Harrods's in-house architect, Louis David Blancbuilt in 1938, and is currently operating as House of Fraser.

Sarah Connell is a Manchester based artist who describes her artwork as focusing on light, atmosphere and colour. Through her work, she captures many of Manchester's most iconic scenes and landmarks.

Materials

All Manchester Art Prints are made on 300μm archival quality art paper, using giclée pigment inks. Prints are wrapped in archival packaging to ensure they arrive with you in perfect condition.

Our standard production time for prints is 3 days before dispatch. Framed prints have a 10 day lead time prior to dispatch.

Dimensions
