By Phil Shelly
The Briton's Protection is an iconic and historic, Grade II listed public house in Manchester, England. The pub's name recalls its use as an army recruiting venue. As well as serving real ale, it is known for offering over 360 whiskies.
Phil Shelly is our resident photographer and also an illustrator working in the heart of Manchester as Phil Shelly Creative. After studying Illustration at Plymouth University, Phil packed up and headed up north to Manchester to create a variety of pop culture art and landscape based art.
