Over one hundred years old, Didsbury Library was opened with a golden key in 1915. Since then generations of Didsbury villagers have learned to love stories, learning and literature there.Fletcher Moss is a very popular and historic Park and Gardens situated in Didsbury, South Manchester. The park is named after Alderman Fletcher Moss, who donated the park to the city of Manchester in 1915. 

St James, Didsbury, on Stenner Lane, is a Grade II* Church of England church. The church dates back to the medieval period with significant 17th and mid-19th century modifications. Today the church has an inclusive vision and welcomes, accepts and serves all people.

Lucy Burgess’ work reflects on her own personal memories of her hometown, she explains ‘I truly believe art should make you think, feel and reminisce - it doesn't have to match the couch as the old saying goes. Much of my work plays on the memories I share with many communities across Stockport; which marked the start of an exciting future for me and my art.’
