This hand-drawn illustration tells the story of Manchester’s music history. The print features inspiration from bands, musicians and venues that have shaped Manchester's iconic music scene including lyrics such as 'ever fallen in love with someone you shouldn't have fallen in love with?' by The Buzzcocks and 'You and I are gonna live forever' by Oasis as well as era defining song titles such as 'Sally Cinnamon' by The Stone Roses and 'Love will tear us apart' by Joy Division.
Sketchbook Design, based in Manchester, was founded in 2015 by artist Michael Wylie. He creates hand-drawn typography and illustration artwork inspired by popular culture and nostalgia.
