Step outside Manchester City center to find the bustling Media City on Salford Quays. Home to the BBC, ITV, Lowry center and a great selection of restaurants and bars. This watercolour style of this this illustration captures the sunny evenings spent by the water, maybe having a drink with a friend or a meal with your family.

Salford Quays was originally part of the Victorian expansion of the Manchester Ship Canal, it opened at the end of the 19th Century to provide improved cargo services and warehouse storage for the bustling world trade centre that was Manchester or Cottonopolis as it was known then.

Phil Shelly is our resident photographer and also an illustrator working in the heart of Manchester as Phil Shelly Creative. After studying Illustration at Plymouth University, Phil packed up and headed up north to Manchester to create a variety of pop culture and landscape-based art.

Shipping & Returns

Our standard production time for prints is 3 days before dispatch. Framed prints have a 10 day lead time prior to dispatch.

Dimensions

Prints and frames are individually sized according to the aspect ratio of the original artwork. However, all Manchester Art Prints are available in a selection of sizes - small, regular, medium and large. See individual products for their sizing options.
